PRSA-NY Turns to D S Simon Media for Two Key Leadership Positions
Doug Simon Named President Elect of New York Chapter and Sarah Katz Joins Board
New York, NY, January 5, 2018 – Two senior leaders of D S Simon Media have been voted in to leadership roles at the Public Relations Society of America’s New York Chapter.
The New York chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-NY), the nation’s largest professional organization serving the communications community, has elected Doug Simon, President & Founder of the video influencer marketing firm D S Simon Media to become President-Elect. D S Simon Media’s Sarah Katz has been elected to serve on its board for a two-year term through 2019.
Doug founded D S Simon Media in 1986. He is an innovator in digital, social and strategic video communications and pioneered Internet Media Tours and PRketing® as communication tools. Simon has appeared on CNN, Fox News Live, NPR, PBS and First Business. He has written for the Huffington Post and has been quoted in USA Today on communications. Simon was the first-ever three-term president of the Publicity Club of New York (PCNY) and he is a former vice president of PRSA-NY.
A veteran of the D S Simon Media team for nearly 10 years, Sarah was recently promoted to Senior Vice President where she continues to develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns in consumer, financial services, health and wellness and other categories.
